Dr. Morris is a visionary and agent of change. With nearly 20 years of experience, he has a diverse leadership background in academia, administration, clinical practice, and community outreach. Dr. Morris has earned several professional degrees and certifications from the University of Michigan (U of M) and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with an emphasis on nursing, gerontology, and Alzheimer’s disease.
PERSONAL INTEREST IN ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE
Dr. Morris is an author, advocate, and servant leader. His passion for helping older adults living with dementia has been recognized at the local, state, and national levels. He remains active and committed to community outreach, public service, and educating underserved population regarding Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. In fact, his recent work includes several self-published books to educate diverse children and family members around the world about Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss.
